Members of Hillingdon Council's north planning committee met last night (16) to consider proposals to crush Oakhurst, a locally listed, Tudor-style home in Northgate, and replace it with a five-bedroom, two-storey detached home.

THREE Rivers District Council is auctioning a two-night stay in a hotel in Birmingham, in aid of the British Red Cross.

Liberal Democrat ward councillor for Croxley Green North, Chris Lloyd, has signed up for the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, to raise cash for Christian Aid.
