A FIRE broke out at a cafe in Northwood last night (Tuesday).
Three fire engines were called to Station Approach just after 6.30pm. The blaze was put out in less than half an hour.
The cafe, next to the Wild Lemon restaurant, is currently being refurbished so no one was in the building at the time.
It is unclear how the fire started, but an investigation is underway.
No one was hurt in the incident.

A SCHOOL in Northwood is celebrating after its main kindergarten building was given a makeover.
St Martin's School, in Moor Park Road, welcomed the Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor Mary O'Connor MBE, for the official re-opening of the building, on Friday (1).
The building was named in honour of former school chairman of governors, John Stanley, who unveiled a special plaque at the event.
STUDENTS at Northwood College used drama to delve into serious issues including adoption, family dynamics and the environment.
About 40 girls aged 11 to 14 took part in Secrets, the first of two plays staged annually at the school, in Maxwell Road.
