TWO'S company, three's a crowd?

A Northwood street has seen one new care home built, foundations laid for a second, and last week planning permission granted for a third.

All three properties, between them comprising 58 beds for elderly residents, will be built adjacent to each other in Chester Road by the same company.

TRAFFIC planners have recommended installing a diagonal crossing and countdown timer at a busy Northwood junction but said lights, which residents had campaigned to remove, should stay.
