Two schools set to get bigger

PLANS are being hatched to expand two schools in Northwood Hills.

Residents living near Harlyn Primary School, Harlyn Drive, have already been consulted over early ideas to increase capacity.

And Northwood School, in Potter Street, has appeared on a list of schools around the country earmarked to receive development cash from the Department for Education.

No confirmed plans for either school has been submitted yet but it is thought the proposals are in reaction to the increasing demand on school places.

Further details will emerge when planning applications are submitted.
