Northwood Live At Home web.jpgA SCHEME to help elderly residents live at home has launched its second branch in Northwood Hills.

The popularity of Northwood Live At Home saw the new 'friendship group' established at the United Reformed Church in Joel Street.

It will run in addition to the current group at St John's United Reformed Church, Hallowell Road.

About 40 people attended the launch event on Monday, including Hillingdon mayor Councillor Mary O'Connor.

Scheme manager Linda Chapman said: "We provide somewhere to go once a week and take part in crafts and quizzes. It is a very happy group."

"We have been running taster sessions and already have 12 members."

We'd like to hear from you.
