Anousha3jpgweb.jpgA LAW student from Northwood Hills is proving it is possible to have both brains and beauty after reaching the finals of a modelling contest.

Anousha Mangroo, of Winchester Road, is one of 37 hopefuls in the Miss Asian Model 2011 competition.

The winner will secure a place in the Miss England grand final in July, with the chance to represent the country in the Miss World contest.

This CCTV image shows the man detectives believe may have information about the theft, at Little Green School, in Lincoln Drive, Croxley Green.

AWARD-winning ladies choir, Jubilate, will host a concert in Northwood later this month.

A Summer Serenade - Songs for a Summer Evening, will include highlights of Vivaldi's Gloria and the lyrical, witty Roald-Dahl inspired Little Red Riding Hood Songbook.

A MAN allegedly found with a gun and CS gas is due to face trial.

Nichali Sixto, of Norwich Road, Northwood Hills, was arrested on March 5 in Hayes, where he is said to have been in possession of a black 30mm pistol.

A MAN found dead at his home in Croxley Green has been named.

As reported in the Gazette, emergency services were called to a property in New Road at about 12.15pm last Thursday, May 26.

Richard Meadows, 45, was discovered inside and he was rushed to Watford General Hospital.
