Visitors flocked to the event, at Moneyhill Court, Dellwood, browsing stalls laden with cakes and bric-a-brac, as well as trying their luck in a tombola and raffle.

The fete was held in aid of the Watford and District branch of Arthritis Care, which encompasses Rickmansworth.

Steve Bailey, art director at Harringtons in High Street, came face to face with the salon legend at the screening of his new film, Vidal Sassoon The Movie.

The original celebrity hairdresser, 83, who found fame in the 1960s, took time to chat to Steve and pose for a photograph.

RESIDENTS can have their say on plans for the future of the school transport network in Hertfordshire.

A CHURCH in Northwood is hosting a holiday club to keep children occupied during the summer break.

Mission Rescue, at Holy Trinity Church in Rickmansworth Road, is aimed at youngsters aged five to 11, especially those who are not yet part of a church community.

DETAILS of missing pooches found by the Three Rivers' animal protection team are now being posted on Facebook.

The team collects about 50 four-legged friends every year, with many unclaimed and sent to animal shelters.
