Northwood Community Arts chosen as Waitrose green token cause for April

A COMMUNITY arts group is set to receive a much-needed cash boost from a Northwood supermarket.

Northwood Community Arts, which runs events at St John's Church, in Hallowell Road, has been named as one of Waitrose's three good causes for April.

As part of its Community Matters project, every time you shop at the store, in Green Lane, you will be given a green token to place in a collecting box for one of three worthy organisations.

At the end of the month, £1,000 is divided between them according to the proportion of tokens collected.
