We live in Pinner and my husband and I are very interested in the new Northwood group. Could you let me know if we can be of any help in setting it up and when you are hoping to start up.

Hello.

The contact number for U3A was placed on the original submission in March.

I have checked and they are setting up the group at the moment.

The person to speak to is Alan Mellors on 01895 635138.

Good luck.

I phoned Alan Mellors but he is not the contact person for this U3A so please do not contact him !

You are right Laura. Mr Mellors was involved is setting up the group, but the new Northwood and District U3A is now under the guidance of Marion Paterson. She can be contacted on 01923 450808. The group meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 10.30am-12.30pm at Fairfield church in Windsor Close, off Joel Street in Northwood Hills. It is a short walk from Northwood Hills station, and anyone coming to the group is asked to use the Tube or bus if possible, unless they are a 'blue badge' driver, in which case please call Ms Paterson first, because parking space is scarce.
