Northwood teenager to be sentenced for robbery

A TEENAGER from Northwood is due to be sentenced after being convicted of robbery.

The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, robbed a man of a mobile phone, of unknown value, at Northwood Recreation Ground in Chestnut Avenue, Northwood, on August 7 last year.

He denied the offence and was found guilty after a trial at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on January 6 this year.

He has been remanded on unconditional bail and is due to return to the court on February 14 this year to be sentenced.
