A TEENAGE boy has been rushed to hospital after a car crash in Mill End today.

The 16-year-old was riding a black Tamoretti motorcycle involved in a collision with a white Ford Kuga car at about 4pm in Pheasants Way.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance service confirmed the boy was taken to Watford General Hospital with chest and leg injuries.

A 45-year-old woman, who was driving the car, was checked for injuries but did not require further treatment.

Two ambulances and the police attended the scene, and the road was closed at the junction of Shepherds Way and Berry Way. It was reopened at about 4.53pm.
