A GLITZY event to raise money for an international Christian organisation dedicated to tackling poverty will take place in Rickmansworth next month.

The Crystal Ball, in aid of the St Vincent de Paul Society, will include a meal, wine and music by the Blue Rinse, a five-piece outfit who perform rock and pop, disco, funk, and jazz. There will also be a raffle and auctions.

The charity works to improve the lives of the homeless, asylum seekers, addicts, ex-offenders, and people with mobility and mental health issues.

The event will be held at Watersmeet Theatre in the High Street on Saturday, February 12 and tickets cost £45. For more information call 07929 490090 or visit www.svp.org.uk
