Drink driving pensioner banned from road for three years and fined £1,000

A PENSIONER has been fined £1,000 and banned from the road for three years for drink driving.

Clifford Roberts, 76, of Gate End, Northwood, admitted to driving above the prescribed alcohol limit while driving in Chester Road, Northwood, on June 11 this year.

He was sentenced at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on September 15 and was also ordered to pay £115 court costs.
