THREE teenagers were robbed of their mobile phones after being threatened by a gang of youths.

The victims were targeted near Blockbuster in Watford Road, Croxley Green at about 9pm last Friday (5).

One of the group asked if they had any cigarettes and when they replied no, they asked for their mobile phones. Feeling vulnerable, the victims handed them over immediately.

The phones taken include a Samsung Tocco, a black Sony Ericsson Cybershot and a Blackberry.

The main offender is described as white, in his late teens, with a silver bar through his left eyebrow and a black and white bobble hat with strings. He had blond hair and is described as being around 5ft 11 inches tall.

Another member of the group is also white, in his late teens and wore a black jumper.

Two were black, in their late teens and one of them was wearing a white hooded top with the word 'Yankees' on it.

Three others are all white.

PC Jo Price, who is investigating the incident said: "This was a nasty experience for the three young victims involved in this and we are determined to catching this group and bringing them before the courts.
