Thieves target Maple Cross newsagents in search of beer on Saturday

A NEWSAGENTS in Maple Cross was targeted by thieves in search of beer on Saturday (6).

A man entered McColls Newsagents in Chalfont Road at about 6pm and went directly to the off licence section, before taking a box of Fosters beer and running out towards Chalfont Road.

He is described as white, about 20 to 25, about 5ft 10inches tall and of a medium build.

He has short brown hair and was wearing blue jeans, white trainers and a white sleeveless vest.

This is being linked to a second theft from the newsagents at about 8.12pm on the same day, after two men stole a box of Fosters and left towards Denham Way.

One of the suspects is described as wearing tight dark denim jeans and a dark hooded top with the hood up. The second suspect is male.
