JCB digger stolen from M25 construction site last week

A large mechanical digger was stolen from under the noses of construction workers on the M25 last week.

The bright yellow JCB, which was secured but unattended, was taken from a site at junction 17 on the busy motorway between 6pm on Tuesday, November 17 and 5pm on Thursday, November 19.

It is unclear how the thieves got away with the vehicle. Police are investigating the incident.
