Women's club holds a 'meet and greet' session

A WOMEN'S club is holding a 'meet and greet' social event to welcome new members.

Northwood Area Women's Club are holding the meeting on September 10 at St John's Church Hall, in Hallowell Road, Northwood, from 9.30am to midday.

The club's autumn programme features talks on chats with the Queen, the story of Pears Transparent Soap and London's Secret Garden.

Outings include visits to Harrow School, Chelsea Physic Gardens, Historic Marylebone and The Potteries at Stoke on Trent.
