Traffic chaos expected in Northwood for six weeks

Posted by Charlene Mitchell on Jul 21, 09 12:30 PM in

TRAFFIC chaos is expected in Northwood over the next six weeks because of water main work.

Ducks Hill Road will be closed at the junction with Rickmansworth Road until the work of relaying the water main at this junction is complete.

The work started on Monday (20) and is scheduled to be completed in six weeks. It is being carried out by Balfour Beatty, contractor for Three Valleys Water.

To alleviate traffic congestion near the junction, the restrictions for traffic turning from Ducks Hill Road into Northgate will be suspended, which means traffic from the Ruislip direction will be able to enter Northwood by Northgate and Copse Wood Way.

We'd like to hear from you.
