Man charged with assaulting his son

A FATHER has been charged with assaulting his son.

The Northwood man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with assaulting his son on May 5 and assaulting him causing actual bodily harm (ABH) on May 4.

He was also charged with wilfully assaulting, ill treating, neglecting, abandoning or exposing his son in a manner likely to cause him unnecessary suffering or injury to health between April 1 and May 3.

He is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court for trial on September 9.
