Kids wanted to take part in a week of circus activities

Posted by Charlene Mitchell on Jul 30, 09 09:20 AM in Clubs/societies

A RENOWNED children's circus is returning to Northwood this summer with a fantastic full week of circus skills activities.

Youngsters aged six to 12 are invited to join Albert and Friends between August 31 and September 4 to learn new skills and to work towards presenting a show at the end of the week.

The project is run as part of the Northwood Community Arts Group programme delivered at St John's United Reformed Church, in Hallowell Road, Northwood.

Albert and Friends Instant Circus is a nationally acclaimed circus company for children and young people based in Hammersmith.

With three circus artists the company will lead fun activities each day from 10.30am to 4pm with children participating in uni-cycling, juggling, clowning, stilt walking and high wire.

Phone 01628 675800 or email admin@artreach.biz for more details.

The Arts Group is also looking for new committee members and volunteers to help with its developing programme, which includes children's theatre and puppet shows, dance workshops for young mums and samba sessions.

Email northwoodarts@artreach.biz for more details.
