Posted by Charlene Mitchell on Jan 16, 09 01:24 PM in Crime

GUN-wielding men held up a bank in Northwood before making off in a car with the money they stole.

The incident happened just before 4pm at NatWest in Green Lane last Tuesday (13).

It is believed a man wearing a balaclava entered the bank with a grey gun and started demanding money from the staff.

Another man wearing a balaclava also entered the bank but stood by the front door.

After being handed the cash they both ran out of the bank and made off in a silver Volkswagen Golf hatchback towards Northwood Hills.

The first suspect is described as white, 6ft, well built, about 30 years old, and was wearing a black balaclava, black gloves, and a light grey tracksuit with light blue stripes on the arms and legs, a zip at the front and a hood.

The second suspect is described as white, 5ft 9ins, about 20 years old, and was wearing a grey hooded top and a black balaclava.

No one is believed to have been injured during the incident and no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information should call the police on 0208 247 7941 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
