Pupils discuss credit crunch

Posted by Charlene Mitchell on Nov 18, 08 12:03 PM in

STUDENTS at an independent girls' school are being given the opportunity to discuss the credit crunch with an investment banker.

Pupils at St Helen's School in Eastbury Road, Northwood, will talk about the implications of the current economic crisis when investment banker Howard Hughes visits the school today (Tues) to discuss 'Stocks and Shares'.

He will also discuss what trends to look for when selecting stocks to invest in.

This was of particular interest to the Sixth Form Economics and Business Studies students who invest an imaginary £50,000 in the stock exchange which they then track, analysing the economic influences on their investments, as part of their studies.

We'd like to hear from you.
