Christmas parade for charity

A GARDEN centre is holding a Christmas parade to help raise funds for a volunteer organisation working for the good of the community.

Carpenders Park Nursery and Garden Centre in Little Oxhey Lane, Carpenders Park, Herts, have decided to work with Northwood Lions Club throughout the festive season.

Father Christmas will lead the parade on his sleigh and there will also be a bucking reindeer, a face painter, a balloon maker, and other activities for children.

The parade will start at the beginning of Little Oxhey Lane on December 6 at 11am, gathering on the green next to the Dick Whittington pub and the celebrations will continue until 4.30pm.
