A FUN dog show will be hosted by Croxley Green Parish Council to raise money for the Harefield Dogs Trust.
The show, which takes place at Stones Orchard in Croxley Green, will feature categories including handsomest dog, best rescue dog, fastest biscuit eater and dog with the waggiest tail. There will also be a Dogs Trust parade.
The event takes place on Sunday, September 25 at 2pm. Entry into each category is £1.

BEAUTIFUL blooms and plants a plenty will be on display at the Rickmansworth and District Horticultural Society's Autumn Show.
The event takes place at St Mary's Church Centre in Church Street, from 2pm this Saturday, September 4. Admission is 30p.

A BRANCH of Macmillan Cancer Support based in Croxley Green has received a £350 grant from Waitrose in Rickmansworth.
The Watford and District committee for the charity, based in Dover Way, offers support to cancer patients and their families across Hertfordshire.
The funds came from the supermarket's Community Matters scheme, which donates £1,000 to three local causes every month.
The supermarket, in Homestead Road, has also donated £220 to Nine Lives Furniture in Wharf Lane, Rickmansworth, which provides high-quality, low-cost second hand furniture.
A CASINO and charity auction evening will take place at Riverside Health and Racquets Club in Ducks Hill Road in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

A 21-YEAR-OLD man from Rickmansworth suffered a neck injury after allegedly being assaulted on Wednesday night (25).
The incident happened as the man was walking in Chalfont Road between 11pm and 11.15pm, when two white males were running along the road towards him.
The victim then found himself on the ground with the neck injury.
PARENTS and carers in Hertfordshire are being urged to apply in advance for their children's school places next year.
The process for moving to secondary or upper school opens next Monday (6) and an information booklet will be handed out to year six pupils this week.
Applications can be made online or a paper application can be handed in to the local admissions and transport team. Forms can no longer be returned to a child's current primary school.
